Hyderabad,October 30: The first meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has decided to verify all the audit paras relating to various works right from 1996.
PAC chairman Nagam Janardhan Reddy said that today’s was a preliminary meeting and the next meeting would be held on November 16 and 17.
The priorities of PAC would be decided at that meeting, he said.
He said the PAC would be activated and it would closely examine the money sanctioned under various heads to several works. The action taken reports (ATRs) would also be scrutinised by the PAC, Reddy said.
Apart from PAC members, Assembly Speaker N Kiran Kumar Reddy also attended the meeting.
