Receipt of application in the 2nd phase of Overseas Scholarship Scheme has begun. Director Minority Welfare Jalaluddin Akber issued notification in this connection. The last date to submit application for pursuing higher education in foreign universities for the year 2015-16 is December 29. Candidates can submit applications online at telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in by 5 pm on December 29. Applications can be submitted as per the conditions of GO MS 24 and GO MS 124. After online submission of application the hard copy of the application must be submitted to the respective District Minority Welfare Officer.
It must be noted that in the fist phase of the scheme 513 candidates had submitted the applications of which 210 were selected for financial assistance. Rs. 5 lakh was released to the beneficiaries as first instalment.
