Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma conducted Special Task Force (STF) meeting on Tuesday and reviewed the progress of Hyderabad Metro Rail project.
Making a detailed presentation on the Action Taken Report (ATR) on the decisions of previous STF meeting, HMR Managing Director NVS Reddy informed the Chief Secretary that since last STF meeting, 13 properties were dismantled/cleared; and more than 50 properties are in final stage of acquisition.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary advised HMR MD and the Collectors of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts to prepare the list of properties which are pending in different courts giving a brief note for enabling him to discuss with Advocate General for expediting the court cases. He instructed the L&TMRHL to strictly adhere to the timelines given by the traffic police department in completing the Metro Rail works on critical stretches of three Metro corridors. He further advised the HMR MD to enforce the timelines given by the Traffic Police department and bring it to his notice in the next STF meeting spillovers if any by L&TMRHL.
