With the last date for submission of online applications for the teachers posts under the District Selection Committee – 2012 completed on July 20, the officials on Saturday stated that they have received 4,23,085 applications in total against 21,343 vacancies announced by the government.
The officials said that 65,004 applications have been received for School Assistants (Language), 2,69,096 for School Assistant (non-language), 36.065 for Language Pandit and 41,716 applications for the secondary Grade Teacher posts.
The DSC examination would be conducted on August 26, 27 and 28.
The government has notified 21,343 vacancies under the DSC – 2012. Of them, 11,602 are for Secondary Grade Teachers, 2,000 for Language Pandit, 365 for Physical Education Teachers, 5,703 School Assistants and 1,673 posts in Municipal Schools.
