Hyderabad, November 02: The final list of eligible candidates under ‘Central sector scheme of scholarships for college and university students’ for the year 2009-10 has been sent to the colleges concerned along with renewal applications for the year 2010-11.
More than 25,200 candidates including 12,637 girls have been selected for scholarships under the scheme.
In a release, the Secretary of Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) asked the principals to send filled in renewal applications for the year 2010-11 of the final selected candidates of 2008-09 (now studying in third year of degree course) and 2009-10 (now studying in second year of degree course) on or before November 10.
The applications can be sent to the Deputy Secretary (National Scholarship), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Department of Higher Education, A-1/W.3.Curzon Road Barracks, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi.
The renewal applications can also be sent to the secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, Vidya Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad. More information can be downloaded from BIE website ‘www.bieap.gov.in’.
