The Entrance Examination for admission into Polytechnics i.e., Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) – 2013 was conducted smoothly across the State on Thursday.
Of 2,51,817 candidates, who registered for the exam, as many as 2,47,053 or 98.1 per cent appeared for the exam. They include 1,80,866 boys and 66,187 girls. The key of the exam will be notified on May 7 and results will be declared on May 17.
The counselling will commence from June 6, according to Commissioner of Technical Education Ajay Jain. (INN)
