More than 1,000 youth donated their blood in the blood donation camp organised by Sunni United Forum of India at Quadri Chaman in the Old City here on Sunday.
The blood donation camp was organised in connection with the birth anniversary celebrations of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). The camp was inaugurated by Charminar MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri. Forum chairman and former member of Wakf Board Moulana Syed Shah Zaheeruddin Ali Sufi and former chairman Moulana Syed Shah Aulia Hussaini were also present.
In view heavy rush, the Forum extended the timing of blood donation camp by two hours to facilitate more youth to donate their blood. (INN)
