Failed in love, a demented lover on Sunday stabbed a woman at her residence in Hapur near Ghaziabad.
The tale of the attack began three years ago. Accused Vijender had a crush on the victim woman Mewati. Vijender proposed her for marriage which Mewati denied.
Enraged with the denial Vijender threw acid on her. He was then sentenced for ten years of imprisonment for his horrifying act.
He was out of the jail on parole a few days back. Traumatized with failure in one-sided love, enraged Vijender decided to take revenge again.
Vijender went to Mewati’s house attacked her with a knife. He kept stabbing her until she fell on the ground and fled from the spot once he assumed her to be dead.
The girl was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.
Police have taken Mewati’s statement and now are on a hunt to nab the demented lover.
