The Students JAC of Osmania University has announced its support for Congress candidate Sircilla Rajaiah in the by-elections for Warangal Lok Sabha seat.
Led by OUJAC Chairman Manavta Rai, several OU students called on TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday and informed him about their decision. Speaking to media persons later, Manavta Rai alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has totally neglected the role played by Osmania University students during the statehood movement. He said that KCR has failed to fulfill the promise of providing one government jobs in each household.
Manavta Rai said that despite completion of 16 months in power, TRS Government to provide promised 1.5 lakh jobs. He said that the process of filling up Group-II, DSC, Sub-Inspector and Constables posts have not yet begun. He said that the Osmania University students would launch an aggressive campaign in Warangal to expose the failures of TRS Government. (INN)
