OUJAC to fight against 14(f)

Hyderabad, July 31: The Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) announced a four-day agitation programme from August 1 demanding deletion of 14(f) clause from the Presidential Order.

The OUJAC leaders on Saturday threatened to stall the recruitment exams for the posts of sub-inspector of police and degree college lecturers to be conducted in August. The leaders said that they will call for Telangana bandh on August 5, if 14(f) clause is not deleted by August 4. They said the aspirants from Telangana would be deprived of their due share in the SI and degree college lecturer posts if the exams are held before 14 (f) is scrapped.

The OUJAC spokesman, Mr Ramesh Mudiraj, said, “We will stall the recruitment exams if they go ahead without removal of the 14(f) clause. There will be a repeat of protests that took place to prevent APPSC examinations earlier.” The government had recently said that SI exams will be held as scheduled.
