OU VC favours changes in exams

Osmania University new Vice Chancellor Prof Ramachandram today said that changes will be made in conducting examinations in a fool-proof manner. We will focus on campus placements by taking steps for skill development among the students and rolling them out with new courses that fetch them suitable jobs he stated. The VC said that vacant posts will be filled up by submitting a report to the state government besides getting NAC recognition.

Ramachandram said that efforts will be made to get back past glory to the varsity. Centenary celebrations will be conducted in a grand manner he said and asked the faculty and students to work together to keep the core values and standards of the varsity. The varsity will submit a report to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on centenary celebrations and its future plans he added. The students who have completed their courses should vacate the campus to pave way for new students, he said. (NSS)
