Hyderabad, July 13: Osmania University Joint Action Committee has decided to storm assembly on July 15 to exert pressure on speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar, to accept the resignations of the Congress legislators of the Telangana region immediately.
The Osmania University JAC leaders have also decided to enforce shutting down of educational institutions on Wednesday in support of the mass hunger strike launched by the students on the campus. They also announced their support to the Rail Roko programme called by the Telangana Political JAC.
Meanwhile, the fast-unto-death launched by the Osmania students for the cause of separate Telangana State on the campus entered the second day on Tuesday.
According to reports, the leaders visiting students on hunger strike were being stopped. Telangana leaders protested against the action taken against students to weaken hunger strike.
