(Siasat News) Students’ Organizations supporting Telangana have decided to take out bus yatra which will start from Nizamabad, Adilabad, Kareemnagar, Warangal and Khammam on 6th November. The poster of bus yatra was released yesterday on the campus of Osmania University at a meeting held at Arts College. The bus yatra will highlight issues like withdrawal of criminal cases against students registered during Telangana agitation, cancellation of Polavaram Project, opposition of keeping Hyderabad as common capital for 10 years.
Mr. Srinivas Goud, President of Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Assocation, Mr. Devi Prasad, President of Telangana NGO’s Association, Prof. Bhomaiah, Chairman of Telangana Praja Front released the poster. Mr. Srinivas Goud, demand the Govt. to cancel Polavaram Project which threatens the abolition of 1000 years tribal culture. He also opposed keeping Hyderabad as common capital for (10) years and highlighted the difficulties in this connection. He suggested that Hyderabad should be made common capital only for (2) years. Mr. Veda Kumar, Vice Chairman of Telangana Praja Front demanded the Govt. to withdraw all the criminal cases registered against the students during Telangana agitations. This should be done before Telangana bill is presented in the Parliament.
