Leader of 1969 Telangana Movement demanded the CM to withdraw the decision to acquire 11 acres of land of Osmania University. Mr. Mr. Kishan Rao, President of the Association and former Minister told that Mr. KCR claims to have read 60-70 thousand books. He should not acquire University land for the construction of two bedroom flats for the poor persons.
Addressing the press persons yesterday, Mr. Kishan Rao told that Mr. KCR should protect all the buildings and lands of OU since they represent Telangana culture. Foreign tourists visit to see Arts College Building which is a historical monument. Osmania University offers quality education. The graduates of this university are respected throughout the world. So far, nearly 1000 acres of land has usurped by the miscreants. CM should dislodge such illegal possessions and hand over this land to Osmania University so that more educational institutions and hostels of foreign students constructed.
