Osmania University Registrar Prof K Pratap Reddy made it clear that the strict action would be taken against the staff involved in the case of misuse of blank pre-printed stationery of memos of Osmania University.
In a media statement, the OU Registrar said that seven accused have been removed from service forthwith since they have been arrested and remanded to the judicial custody. They are Pradham Shiva Shanker Reddy, Nakka Mahesh, Konagara Raj Kumar, Muttigalla Sailu, Md. Afsar, Pandagala Shiva Shanker, and D. Ramesh.
The Registrar informed that the certificates misused were merely the blank pre-printed stationery of memo of marks of early 2010. He also informed that the OU Vice-Chancellor has convened an emergency meeting of the officials concerned on Sunday and took stock of the situation ordering a five member internal inquiry committee to probe into the issue and submit a report within one week.
