The Osmania University on Sunday announced the allotment of seats for engineering and pharmacy PG courses.
Total number of seats available under Convener quota for both engineering and pharmacy courses is 60,535, out of which 34,150 seats are available in colleges of Telangana state and 26,385 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Number of candidates who exercised web options is 50,300 out of which 37,995 students are allotted seats in the first phase of admissions, category conversion are not done during this phase.
The students have to download the allotment order in duplicate and the challan form for payment of fee (if applicable). Fee has to be paid at any branch of Andhra Bank in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. After payment of fee (if applicable) the students have to report at any of the helpline centers along with allotment order in duplicate and fee paid challan from 10th to 13th November, as per the schedule available in the website: http://pgecet.apsche.ac.in, otherwise the admission stands cancelled. Classwork commences from 17th November.
The second/final phase of counseling is scheduled during 17th to 20th November. Certificate verification for the candidates who have not attended earlier can attend on 17th and 18th November, at any of the help line centers. Exercising web options is scheduled from 18th to 20th November. The details of the schedule will be notified on the PGECET website. Students may note that Pharma-D course in some pharmacy colleges and some new courses in Universities are included after first phase of admissions.
Any student who attended certificate verification either in the first phase or second /final phase are eligible for exercising web options for second/final phase of counselling. Allotment of seats will be made for the second/final phase on 23rd November, students have to report at any of the helpline centers on 24th and 25th November, according to PGECET – 2014 Convener Prof A Venugopal Reddy.
