The hospital which comes to patients’ at the time of emergency, itself needs treatment. The X-ray and CT scan machines of the hospital have become dysfunctional. The hospital staff shrugged off the burden by suggesting the injured to go for corporate hospitals.
There was a time when Osmania hospital was well-known for good treatment. People prefer to go to the hospital for treatment but today due to lack of facilities the hospital has lost its identity.
When the Dilsukhnagar blast injured were brought to the hospital the doctors and hospital staff was ready for treatment but due to lack of facilities the doctors were not ready to take responsibility of the injured. Even the dressing facility was not available.
During his visit to Hyderabad Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde inspected the blast site and also visited injured at corporate hospitals but did not visit Osmania hospital.
