Hyderabad: Osmania General Hospital is a historic hospital of the state. It was Constructed by Nizam VII in 1917.
A Function will be held on the occasion of Republic Day on 26th January at the Heritage block of the hospital.
Dr. P.Nagender an old student of Osmania Medical College took special interest to restore the grandeur of the hospital. Osmania Hospital’s construction was completed in 1919.
Its architectural design was drawn by famous U.K architect Vincent Jerome and Khan Bahadur Nawab Mirza Akbar Baig.
A Postal stamp was also issued earlier which depicted the hospital.
