Islamabad, July 21: Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said neither Taliban chief Mullah Omar nor Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden are in Pakistan,as per the media reports
Reacting to Hillary Clinton’s contention that she believed that the world’s most wanted man Osama bin laden was still in Pakistan, Gilani said if anyone has any credible and verifiable information about Omar and bin Laden it should be shared with Pakistan.As,US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she believed Osama bin Laden was still in Pakistan.
Clinton asked Pakistan to give US intelligence on Al Qaeda and its elusive leader Osama bin Laden as it’s personal between her and the terror group.
“I want those guys,” she said. “I assume somebody in this (Pakistani) government, from top to bottom, does know where bin Laden is, and I’d like to know too,” Clinton told from Kabul where she is convening an international donors conference on Afghanistan.
Gilani further said that he had told the Indian prime minister in Bhutan that the present government in Pakistan is in a much better position to negotiate outstanding issues with India as it enjoys support of all political parties, institutions and stakeholders.
He said that Kashmir is a core issue between India and Pakistan.
