New Delhi : The future of lighting has been redefined in the country with the launch of promising LED brand ‘Orkus’. With its wide and unmatched range of superior LED Products, Orkus is all set to revolutionize LED lighting scenario in India.
Enthused by the pioneering success it achieved in just a few months of its launch, the company aims to achieve revenue of Rs. 1000 crore in the next three years with an extensive network across India with projections of 30 percent share from the brand Orkus only.
Under its LED brand Orkus, the compact lamps has rolled out an array of exclusive LED products that include LED Bulbs, LED Panels, LED Spot and LED Tube lights, among many others. The company has initially targeted to invest over Rs. 100 crore in the next three years to ramp up its LED manufacturing facilities, capabilities as well as the promotion of the new brand.
With its wide network of channel partners, indigenous facilities, strong marketing and promotion, competent Research and Development and proactive sales and service, Orkus has already created strong footprints in the domestic LED Market.
To expedite its expansion Orkus has envisioned a grand PAN India promotion plan based on consumer psychography and customer needs and lighting aspirations. Moreover, after already registering their strong presence in the north, the company has recently forayed in South India through a dealers meet in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Attended by more than 500 dealers, this event turned out as a huge dealers meet of its kind in Lighting Industry. The company showcased all Orkus product range with their live demo sessions for the dealers at the occasion.
Among all the LED products of the company that it showcased at the event, the exclusive three in one and panels were highly appreciated by the dealers.

Besides expanding our market into metro cities, we are also focusing on developing and strengthening our dealers’ network in tier-II and III cities,” said MD, Compact Lamps Pvt. Ltd. Kapil Gupta.
“On the back of huge market demand for our products, I’m sure we will successfully be able to achieve the revenue target of Rs 1000 Cr in the next three years,” added Kapil Gupta.
Compact lamps have already launched its LED lighting brand Orkus in northern states, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, AP, Telangana and Kerala. Apart from, North and South India, the company has successfully established its dealers network in western region of the country with penetrating deeply in the markets of the leading cities, including Pune, Mumbai, Indore, Bhopal, besides other upcountry markets.
Recently, it has also bagged an impressive order from Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) for the supply of 9W LED lamps. A PSU in partnership with ministry of power supported on a large scale by BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) for the LED revolution in India, the EESL has given this part contract to compact lamps for supplying these LED lamps to various areas in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
