An orientation program will be organized from July 4 to 11 for the fourth batch of MBA students admitted into Hyderabad Business School (HBS), GITAM University, for the 2012-13 academic year.
The program will be inaugurated by Veenu Jindal, Director-Talent Delivery, Deloitte, on July 4 on HBS premises. The orientation is meant to serve as a bridge course for the MBA aspirants hailing from various disciplines and orient them towards the nature, scope and functions of Management Studies. During the week-long program, the students will enjoy interaction with a mix of academicians and industry experts for a basic introduction to management.
Along with subject experts, there will be guest lectures by various industry experts such as Venkat, Head, Corporate Accounts, Axis Bank, B. Ramana Murthy, Director, PETL, Hyderabad, M. Gopalakrishna IAS (Retd), former Chairman APSFC, Vivekananda Suri, Director – EBS, Oracle, Dr K. Satyanarayana, Hori Shankar Mukherjee, B. N. Trinadh, PGDM, IRMA, Dr Praveen, B. Malla, Head-Thought Leadership, Infosys, Dr K.S. Ratnakar, Executive Director, Global Hospitals, on topics such as Selling Skills, Nurturing Management Skills, Preparing for Industry Challenges, Career Progression, Student engagement, Thought Leadership, and Maintaining Strong Body for a Strong Mind.
