The Telangana State Committee of CPI here on Saturday demanded that the TRS government organise Telangana Liberation Day celebrations officially this year.
State CPI secretary Chada Venkat Reddy released a wall poster to this effect in Maqdoom Bhavan, here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Venkat Reddy said his party would organise Telangana Liberation Day celebrations for a week. He also lamented that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was not responding to his party’s appeal. (NSS)
