Oral care should get priority in health policy: Vohra

Srinagar, October 18: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra has said the oral care needs to be accorded “high priority” in the state health policy and stressed that hospitals should be fully equipped with equipment and manpower to deal with dental cases.

“Oral health is a very important element of the overall health of an individual and whatever health policy is adopted by the State, oral health would need to be accorded high priority,” Vohra said inaugurating three-day 10th Jammu and Kashmir State and Inter-State Dental Conference here, yesterday.

A large number of delegates from within and outside the state are participating in the Conference, which has been organised under the aegis of the Indian Dental Association.
