The opposition parties have called for Telangana Bandh on October 10 in protest against the State Government’s alleged failure to resolve the agrarian crisis.
TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy announced that the Congress party would observe Telangana Bandh to pressurise the State Government for one-time settlement of crop loan waiver scheme dues and to expose the failure of government to prevent farmers’ suicides. Meanwhile, Telangana TDP Working President and MLA A. Revanth Reddy too called for Telangana Bandh on October 10. Other opposition parties BJP, YSRCP and Left Parties too have supported the bandh call. (INN)
