Opportunist politics ruling roost in the state: Naidu

TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu said today that opportunistic politics was reigning roost in the State with many ‘aya rams’ and ‘gaya rams’.

Speaking during election campaign at Lalaram village in Pratipadu constituency, the TDP president said no harm would come to TDP if one or two opportunists changed their political loyalties. He said the YSRCP and the Congress were colluding to hamper the TDP prospects in the bye-polls. Jagan is doing the work of what Chiranjeevi did in 2009.

“Congress is exploiting Jagan in the same manner they used Chiranjeevi to damage the TDP ” he said.

Naidu said the greed for power and money of one individual had been driving many politicians to the jail , ‘It is a shame that the congress party has remained a silent spectator to the happenings and Kiran Government had become a puppet and most ineffective in containing the drift, he added. (NSS)
