Hyderabad, December 19: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi president, Mr K. Chandrasekhara Rao, has said that if the Telangana Congress leaders were sincere about withdrawal of cases against Telangana students, they should block the passage of the State budget.
Deploring the statement of the Director General of Police, Mr Aravinda Rao, the TRS supremo has alleged that the police chief was talking in a way to provoke agitators. “He has expressed his opinion. We will also express our opinions”, he added. He said that they knew where to press the button, sarcastically.
Stating that it was improper for the police to talk in a manner to arouse passions, he said that they should only do what the government tells them to do. On the reference to getting additional forces, Mr KCR said that he knew what additional forces could do.
