Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today slammed the opposition for getting envious over the TRS rule getting huge support from people of the state. Addressing a press conference here Krishna Rao fumed at the opposition for indulging in vague talk on the irrigation projects. The previous government did not bother about the irrigation projects and deserted the people of the region, he fumed. The Opposition, he said, is talking without any knowledge over the projects which are being completed by the TRS Government on a war-footing. Krishna Rao said that the Congress could not digest the development in the state.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is a great leader being supported by the people he maintained. He expressed discontent at the Opposition for persistently making derogatory remarks against the government. The history of the opposition is known to everyone and people will not tolerate such malicious campaign against the government he flayed.
The Congress and the Telugu Desam Governments swiftly ignored the development of the irrigation projects, agriculture and welfare. The congress government did not give a single rupee for Palamur project and deceived the farmers and people he charged.
TRS MLC Bhanuprasad stated that the government is in favour of the farmers and will take every step for their welfare. The TRS Government is making efforts to complete the irrigation projects on a war-footing to reach the aim of irrigating 1 crore acres over five years.
He slammed the opposition for trying in vain to malign the image of the government. While TD Government turned Telangana into a desert the Congress regime neglected irrigation sector he criticized. (NSS)
