Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan today gave a pat to the State government for its focus on providing the best health services to people. Narsimhan also took serious exception to the Opposition for its comments against him. “The Opposition leaders were indulging in making derogatory remarks against him whatever he does”, Narasimhan said.
Along with Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy, the Governor made a visit to Telangana Diagnostic Central Lab at Narayanaguda and appreciated the laboratory arrangements and latest equipment in place. He also appreciated that Telangana Health department as No 1 in the country to develop its hospitals. The State government was taking better initiatives for people’s health and will visit Basthi Dawakhanas (locality hospitals) soon, he said.
Governor Narasimhan said, “The Opposition leaders, especially V Hanumantha Rao, were making ridiculous comments against me even if I visit a temple”, he bemoaned. The Opposition should first visit the hospitals and then make any comments, he said. Stating that maintenance of mortuaries will be fine tuned with positive changes, the Governor hoped that there will be no breaking news in news channel on the government hospitals now. (NSS)
