Job Description:

Roles/Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for code and web deployment on Unix/Windows/Linux platforms.

Provide batch support using Control-M, Autosys and CA7 in UNIX, Linux, Windows and Mainframe environments.

Should be able to install, configure and troubleshoot Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, IIS and iPlanet related tasks.

Renewing SSL certificates in IIS, Apache, Iplanet and Websphere

SSO Installations and Upgradations

Experience in Agile Release Cycles

Be able to troubleshoot and communicate OS, Application and User level issues.

Be able to communicate and coordinate issues/tasks to the different teams within the organization.

Advise customers systems, process, and programs to enhance operational efficiency.

Develops strategies, programs/projects that impact group, and/or organization. Leverages resources to maximize achievement of project goals.

Be able to schedule and execute change controls per the guidelines from the change control process.

Should be able to provide 24/7 support.

Should be able to work on multiple server (100) at the same time.

Good to have used tools like Putty CM, VisionApp, Cygwin etc

Skills/Experience:

5-10 years of experience in UNIX and Windows (2003/2008)

5-10 years of experience with Middleware technologies such as Apache, Websphere, Weblogic, Application Server, or IIS.

Prefer knowledge of tools and scripting methods utilized for deployment and configuration of Web Applications.

Knowledge in documenting procedure according to company standards

Should be familiar with different Network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, SFTP.

Should be able to provide 24/7 on-call production support

The successful candidate should poses superior communication skills enabling them to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.

The candidate should also be capable of negotiating issues and resolving complex problems with creative solutions.

The ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential to this position.

Preferred Skills & Experience

5-10 years experience in heterogeneous environment including UNIX and Windows 2003/2008.

5-10 experience with Middleware technologies such as Apache/Websphere Application Server and IIS.

Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Autosys, control-M or CA7.

Understanding of TCP/IP networking (loadbalancing, switching, routing protocols, WLAN, DNS, HTTP, SNMP and packet level analysis)

Working experience or exposure to Performance Testing and Automation tools will be an added advantage
