Opening For Program Finance Manager in UAE

Job Description:

The Program Finance Manager will work closely with the Project Controls Manager and will be responsible to provide planning, cost control functions and management support to the program.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, management and implementation of Program Finance Manager functions and systems across the program.
• Oversee, track, report and coordinate the efforts of the cost control officers of sub-contractors and other stakeholders in the program.
• Lead the Cost Control reviews, planning, estimating and cost monitoring functions that support the cost-effective delivery of assets across the program.
• Provide utilization reports on all major functional areas within the program. Provide budgetary reports and returns as required in support of the program on a quarterly basis or any other frequency as requested by the client.
• Lead commercial reviews of submittals from all stakeholders and sub-contractors as directed by the JPMO.
• Provide analysis, written reports and conduct workshops to resolve change control forms (CCF’s), contractual variations, commercial tenders and submissions as directed by the JPMO.
• Provide support to the Program Controls Manager as tasked. Support the compilation of the Monthly Progress Report. Other tasks as directed by the Client.

Requirements:

The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a finance manager on infrastructure projects.

The candidate must have been the finance manager on projects that had a capital value in excess of AED500 million.

The candidate must have a degree as a quantity surveyor or as an account with experience to suit.

Well-developed communication skills and au fait with the commonly used MS Office suite of software.

The candidate must be able to develop a cost control system in the absence of a formal system.

The candidate must have good writing skills and must have great organizational skills. The candidate must be fluent in English.

Desirable
• Experience in military infrastructure projects.
• Military experience and an understanding of military infrastructure projects
• The candidate must have prior experience working in the UAE.
