The Role
JOB TYPE: Contract (Full time)
WORK PERIOD: 40 months
SALARY: $8,000 – $10,500 per month.
COMPANY AND LOCATION:
The client is a large construction company specialised in construction of industrial and technological facilities in the oil and gas industry. They are one of the recognised leaders in the market of oil and gas development in Central Asia and Russia. The job holder will be based at the project office/ site in Uzbekistan.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
? Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
? Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
? Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
? Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
? Examine and test existing contracts
? Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
? Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
? Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
? Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
? Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
? Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
? More than 10 years for gas/refinery/petrochemical plants in EPC Company as Procurement Manager
? Proven working experience as a procurement manager or procurement officer
? Knowledge of modern sourcing and procurement techniques
? Experience in collecting and analyzing data
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
? Talent in negotiations and networking
? Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
? Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
? Strong leadership capabilities
QUALIFICATION:
BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
EXPERIENCE:
More than 10 years for gas/refinery/petrochemical plants in EPC Company (Procurement Manager experience is required)
SKILLS:
? Excellent communication skills
? Advanced MS Office skills
? Excellent people and team management skills
? Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and procurement standards
? Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
? Decision making ability and leadership skills
