Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1.Design and build world-class mobile applications for multiple mobile platforms
2.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, build, test and ship new products / features to app stores.
3.Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions along with technical design document.
4.Unit- test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
5.Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
6.Work closely with front-end developers to build compelling device-specific user interface with focus on usability & experience
7.Standardise the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
8.Resolve issues and optimise the performance of the apps
9.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
10.Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical Skills ( ) MUST
1.In-depth knowledge of raw (ES5 / ES6) and familiar with design patters
2.JavaScript Hands-on experience in developing applications using JavaScript framework / libraries – , and Node.js React Native
3.Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, and working with RESTful interfaces
4.Experience working with remote data via and REST JSON
5.Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks & workarounds
6.Solid understanding of the full web stack (e.g., HTTP, headers, caching, SSL, HA Proxy, WebSockets, DNS, CDN)
7.Experience in using ( , , ) and databases ( ) – RDBMS Oracle MySQL MariaDB NoSQL MongoDB MongoDB
8.Familiar with Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools (Eclipse, WebStorm etc.), including debugging, optimisation etc.
9.Experience in using Source Control Management (SCM) tools such as Git, Bitbucket etc.
10.Knowledge in writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading
11.Experience in writing efficient, maintainable and reusable code that preserves privacy and security, and social media APIs
