Job Description:
Required Skills:
Total of 7 – 9 years of experience in testing with very good Analytical Skills
6 – 7 years of experience in testing web based applications preferably using .Net
2+ years of experience in regression, integration & system level test execution
Experience in manual testing, writing test cases and executing them is a must
Experience in testing automation would be given priority
Experience on Load Testing using different tools such as Load Runner
Exposure to different domains, QA methodologies and QA documentation
Understanding of RDBMS fundamentals and working knowledge of T-SQL (database testing)
Should be able to interact with the clients and flexible to support in US time zones on need.
Experience in developing test plan, test metrics & test scenarios
Participation for full SDLC & STLC in at least one application is must
Participation in UAT or handle UAT and getting signoff (handled at least one UAT)
Achieving cross browser testing and compatibility is an asset
Resources with knowledge on testing frontend using different tools(like firebug) is a plus
Added advantage:
Candidates with Finance/Accounting domain experience can be an added advantage
Experience in VS Test professional is a plus.
Knowledge in Requirements Gathering and Analysis and active participation is a good plus
Knowledge/experience with Process implementation such as ISO will be added advantage
Prior experience on Process Oriented approaches would be highly appreciated
Responsibilities:
Passionate about testing high-quality systems with implementation of best practices
Has to act as SPOC for the entire application for US / client team
Ability to perform and orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously
Develop Test Plans
Write and execute test cases
Support test automation & maintain documentation
Able to create and implement test cases in a rapid prototyping environment with minimal supervision.
Should be able to work independently and able to coordinate with teams across geo-graphic locations
Good communication skills Spoken / Written (overseas client interactions {Preferable})
Willing to work on different time zones
Software testing and quality assurance
Evaluate and identify new testing technologies.
Review requirements and help in estimating project timelines
