The Role
Supervise, plan, provide technical support for the safe operation and functionality of Integrated Control Systems (ICS) deployed at the Qatargas Onshore and Offshore facilities. Maintain the Control Systems at optimum performance through periodic system monitoring and analysis.

Rectifies any problems identified in the Control Systems through on-line and shutdown maintenance. Maintain proper backups of all system software and control software as per the Backup policy. Perform System maintenance activities during plant shutdown and Provide support to operation and Maintenance for shutdown and start up activities.

Perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as per SAP PM Frequency. Implementation of EMOC recommendations. Provide assistance to Instrument group in troubleshooting and rectifying Instrument and control problems. Provide support to Offshore Instrument team in maintaining Offshore Control Systems.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems OR Electronics and Communication.
– 7 years’ experience in Distributed Control System maintenance. Knowledge of Third party System Interface with DCS. Knowledge of PLC, TMR and ESD systems.
– Ideally working in an Oil and Gas processing environment. Knowledge of SAP system.
– Good written and spoken English.
