The D2CS vision is to create innovative support experiences for customers of Amazons devices and digital products, through intelligent self-service solutions and a world class tech support organization. To empower data driven decisions on behalf of customers, we currently run analytics out of a fast-growing, multi-node, multi-terabyte Redshift cluster, and have queries which run over billions of rows of data everyday.RESPONSIBILITIESData Engineering Design and develop efficient and reliable data pipelines; Optimize existing ETL data pipelines by working closely with data providers and consumers; Modeling Metadata; Identifying opportunities for data acquisition; Implementing systems for tracking data quality and consistency.Systems Architecture Build pipelines that can support near-real-time reporting; Lead development of architecture and standards to ensure solutions conform to those standards; Drive the use of common principles, patterns, technology frameworks, and libraries.Scripting – Use your coding abilities across a number of languages to deliver and maintain new, innovative techniques for data-piping and ETL solutions; leverage AWS Kinesis Analytics, Lambda, and Kinesis Firehose to schedule continually running SQL queries over streaming data
