Job Responsibilities:
SALES:
Focus on the development of the Modular Chiller Plant (MCP) business
Build a Key Accounts map and annual coverage plan for major accounts in DC, TIAC & Data Center & Government sectors (eg. Ministries of Health, Education, Aviation).
Develop high end relationships with Key Accounts.
Become intimate and understand the Key Account firm structure & decision making process.
Develop strong relationships with owners and uphold the image and reputation of Daikin as the supplier of choice.
Review market approach and identify new key market verticals for incremental business.
Contribute to increase market share by enhancing inquiry base (owners), by increasing preferential Daikin brand awareness.
Provide high level system design advice & support to the potential customers and provide seminars towards the owners and decision makers in the commercial and industrial market segments.
Discuss with owners and key accounts their projects’ specs.
Work closely with Project Sales team & Consulting Sales team to ensure order conclusion.
Responsible for a marketing & promotional budget for incentive trips.
Coordinate and guide Project Sales team & Consulting Sales team on Key Account business.
Closely monitor projects within the assigned territory, understand project dynamics and set sales strategy for the project.
Look out for solution business opportunities within assigned territory.
2. STRATEGIC:
Develop Modular Chiller Plan (MCP) business
Contribute to the leadership and business strategy.
Further develop and establish the Daikin brand and strategically plan your approach to further develop Owners network and win market share.
Consult with the Business Development Department Manager & Territory Management (GM, Project Sales Manager & Consulting Sales Manager) on defining strategy and implementation of strategy for Business development.
Analysis of the business performance data to drive better performance in GCC market.
Competitor and client research.
Skills:
Experience:
5-10 years with at least 2 years at a similar account management role with experience in EPC / Turnkey HVAC contracting or consultancy
Experience in packaged plant design and sales
Extensive technical knowledge in Applied HVAC systems.
Commercial aptitude:
Strong understanding and work exposure in engineering and construction industry within the region
Experience of working in international and multicultural environment is preferable.
Ability to manage a large team of individuals, either direct reports or parallel team members, to effectively deliver objectives.
Strong network of business contacts (consultants/contractors/government entities).
Previous work experience in GCC.
Education:
University degree in engineering.
Language/Computer skills:
Excellent English communication (presentation, negotiation and influencing) skills, both spoken & written.
Knowledge of the Arabic language is considered as an advantage.
Familiar with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
