Your key responsibilities

As Assistant Manager, you’ll make a technical contribution to clients in a lead role in both financial and non- financial service sectors. You’ll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships, execute complex assurance advisory procedures, supervise junior team members and help execute client engagements. Working under the supervision of an assurance Director and Senior Manager, you’ll also help execute our work and present findings to the client.

With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you’ll escalate issues as appropriate. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll determine whether the work plan is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with our Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) guidelines. As an influential member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture, will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

Requirements
• Strong academic record including a degree
• A CIA, CPA, ACCA or ACA will be highly beneficial
• Four years of post-qualification experience
• Familiarity with IFRS and local GAAP standards
• Understanding of risk- based internal auditing techniques, risk control strategies and knowledge of risk management framework
• Understanding of business processes extensive knowledge of developing business policies and procedure manuals and related knowledge of process benchmarking
• Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
• Experience with corporate governance reviews
• Track record with a leading public practice advisory firm
• Arabic language skills are highly desirable
