The Role
Reporting to the Senior Analysts of this professional services organisation, the AR Accountant is responsible for supporting the Middle East Finance operations, primarily focusing on supporting the established Client Case Management team. The AR Accountant will be an integral member of the team by supporting the critical needs of ongoing business created by rapid growth. This role provides the right candidate with great exposure across all levels within the business; allowing the opportunity to build fundamental relationships and credibility.
Specific responsibilities include overseeing local office time and billing functions, timely and accurate employee management including new starters, promotions, leavers, transfers and application of correct billing rates for consulting staff, review of timesheets submissions and preparation of weekly revenue forecast and actual reports for submission to Finance Director.
You will work closely with Staffing to improve forecasting, explain variances and minimize leakage, utilise case performance reports to ensure billings are aligned with expectations and monthly preparation of Revenue Outlook forecast for submission to Regional Finance leadership.
Additionally, you will be involved in project maintenance, cashflow management and other general ad hoc responsibility including completion of various reports, audit support and cover for staff members during times of leave.
Requirements
Our client is looking for a university degree with 2-4 years’ experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent analytical capabilities and numerical reasoning and experience in a professional services and / or project management environment would be considered a plus.
