K-Circle, a quizzing club, will conduct an open quiz contest at the B.M Birla Science Center at Adarsh Nagar here on Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
According to a press release, the event was part of three quizzes that are being organized by K-Circle to celebrate its 40th anniversary. While the second quiz, the K-Circle school quiz, is being conducted at the Hyderabad Public School on August 25; the third open science quiz’ will take place at the B.M. Birla Science Centre on October 2.
Contestants can participate in an audio-visual quiz or a general quiz. While teams of two members each will have to compete in the audio-visual quiz and three-member teams will be part of the general quiz.
A fee of Rs 100 will be charged for participating in the general quiz. K-Circle members, comprising students and professionals, meet every Saturday at YMCA in Secunderabad from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm for quizzing. (NSS)
