Hyderabad, May 13: The impact of counting of votes of Kadapa by-elections was so severe that only two ministers attended their offices in the Secretariat on Friday.
The Minister for Major Irrigation, Mr P Sudarshan Reddy and the Minister for Social Welfare, Mr Pitani satyanarayana, only turned up in their offices in the Secretariat. As the ministers were not available, the number of visitors was also thin. The employees in the Secretariat also were seen discussing the counting of votes at the canteen during lunch time.
Though the counting of votes was nerve-raking and the victory of YSR Congress become crystal clear a few hours after the counting began, the huge majority presented to Mr Jagan and Mrs Vijayamma by Kadapa voters has become a central point to the discussion where four gathered as a group.
