Hyderabad, November 23: Only 6 applications were received of which one declared eligible after the notifications issued for the 36 reserved posts of backlog secondary grade teachers (SGT) Urdu medium. In this situation it is likely to change the remaining 35 seats into general category.
It would not be out of place to mention here that notification for the recruitment of backlog reserved category of Urdu medium SGT teachers has been issued three times so far. And now according to the rules these posts will be de-reserve for the fourth time.
This should be noted that 36 posts of SC, ST and BC backlog SGT Urdu medium posts were vacant across the district. And for the recruitment on the above said posts notification was issued on November 7. The last date ended on November 19 till then only 6 applications were received and after the scrutiny according to the rules of department of education only one applicant was declared as eligible. The written exam for this will be held on December 11.
