Congress senior leader K Jana Reddy on Tuesday claimed that only Congress party could bring development in Telangana region.
Speaking to media persons at Gun Park here, Jana Reddy alleged that other political parties were not interested in the people’s welfare and have been trying to grab power through all means. He said people were aware that it was Congress president Sonia Gandhi who granted statehood to the region and only Congress could develop the new State. He said unlike other parties, Congress does not believe in making fake promises. He hoped that the Congress would win at least 90 per cent of the seats in Telangana.
Jana Reddy also condemned the TDP-BJP alliance and described it as most opportunistic move by both the parties to cheat the people. He said both the parties came together only for votes and not for the people. (INN)
