(Siasat News) Government of A.P. has announced best teacher awards for 57 teachers but only 3 Muslims teachers have been selected for this award. They include Mr.P. Pyaro Khan (Chittoor), Mr. S. Abdur Rahman (Guntakal, Ananthapur), and Khwaja Merajuddin (Hyderabad).
Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M. of A.P. will give these awards tomorrow on the occasion of Teachers’ day at Ravender Bharthi. Leaders of Teachers’ Association have criticized the government that very few Muslim teacher have been selected for Teacher award. Whenever there is occasion to select Muslim teachers, injustice done to them. They demanded Director of School Education to select teachers in a very transparent way.
