Applications were invited for 2500 posts of constables in Hyderabad City Police but so far only 2000 applications have been received.
The notification was issued on 31st December and the last date of submission of applications was 20th February. It may be noted that Siasat Urdu Daily offers training for the candidates appearing for written and Physical tests for police constable’s posts.
Various organizations and parents of the candidates requested Editor of Siasat, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan to represent to the Govt. for the extension of last date. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan reacted immediately and wrote letters to Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy, CM, Mr. V. Dinesh Reddy, DGP and Mr. Anurag Sharma, Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police and requested them to extend the last date by two months so that all those candidates who are writing Intermediate examination could also register their applications.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan pointed out that if less number of applications are received, police department would invite applications once more. If the last date is extended, Govt. would save some money & time.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan also mentioned that police department will issue another notification soon for the recruitment of 3500 Home Guards. Any candidate between the age 18 to 50 years of age who has passed SSC examination is eligible to apply. He has requested the eligible candidates and their parents to make use of this opportunity.
