Online connectivity between ranges, head office launched by DG Acb A K Khan

A.K.Khan,IPS., Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau has launched online connectivity of Range Offices with ACB Headquarters Office through APSWAN Net work and dedicated the same to the ACB. Earlier, as a part of IT Development in the Bureau, the ITE & C Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh had sanctioned Rs.25 lakhs for implementation of computerization in the ACB basing on the project report submitted by the Bureau. The sanctioned amount of Rs.25 lakhs consists of Rs.16.80 lakhs towards hardware and online connectivity of Range offices with Headquarters through A.P.SWAN for transfer of data and fast communication among the range offices and Head Office. The Andhra Pradesh Technological Services Ltd., provided online connection through A.P SWAN to 13 the Range Offices (except Nellore and Tirupathi Ranges where the connectivity will be established separately) and Headquarters., which will facilitate Range Offices of the Bureau to send the day to day reports, Draft Final Reports etc., to Head Office through the mail I.Ds allotted by the I.T.& C Department.
