For the first time, PGMET will be held online instead of off line examination pattern followed earlier scheduled to be held on March 1. The NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has made all arrangements for the Postgraduate Medical Entrance.
The computer-based exam will be held at 44 test centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana — 18 in Andhra University region, six in Sri Venkateswara University region and 20 in Osmania University region (TS).
“The entire application process was online, including payment of entrance examination fee. Instead of challans, the fee was paid using credit, debit cards and internet banking. A total of 13,464 applications were received, of which 22 were invalid,” he said.
Candidates will not allow into the test centers after 9:15 am. In the 45 minutes before the commencement of exam at 10 am, the candidates will be briefed about the computer-based exam.The duration of the exam will be three hours and there will 200 questions of objective type.
