One year of Yogi raj: Communal violence, encounters, dying children

LUCKNOW: March 19 mark the completion of one year of Yogi Adityanath as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Here is a report card for a year which is a long enough time to evaluate Yogi’s performance across different areas like unemployment, agriculture, healthcare and law and order.

Crop loan waiver is the election promise: The government claimed that the farmers’ debts were waived however, there were reports farmers got cheques ranging from Rs 9, Rs 18 and Rs 20 and so on.

To celebrate the completion of one year, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government would release a film ‘Ek Saal-Naee Misaal’ and a booklet highlighting its achievements with grand function at the Lok Bhawan in Lucknow.

The monk-turned-politician, a master of divisive politics at a meeting in Gorakhpur this March said that as a Hindu he does not celebrate Eid.
