Hyderabad, October 03: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday signed the file related to Rs 1 per kg rice scheme at his Camp Office.
After paying rich floral tributes to Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi portrait at the Camp office to mark his birth jayanthi, the Chief Minister signed the file. He said the scheme, scheduled to be launched on November 1, would benefit 2.26 crore people in the State.
Stating that his government was committed to the welfare of poor and middle class people, Kiran Kumar Reddy listed out the various welfare schemes being implemented by the State Government for the welfare of economically and socially weaker sections.
The Chief Minister also advised the people to avail the benefits of government schemes to come up in their life.
