The RGI Airport Immigration officials on Saturday arrested one person for travelling with a fake passport.
The accused, Pelepu Jalandhar, 35, hails from Karimnagar. He went to Muscat in the year 2007 and was arrested after he landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Shamshabad. According to police, Jalandhar travelled on someone else’s passport, identified as K Rayamallu, by changing the photograph. He procured the fake passport from an agent Shankar by paying 5500 Omani Riyals. A case has been registered The RGI Airport police have filed a case and remanded to judicial custody. (INN)
