Kolkata, November 15: For the second time in nearly one month, another trident has been stolen from Swami Vivekananda’s house in northern part of the city, police said today.
According to a complaint lodged at Girish Park police station, the trident which was kept in the inmost recess of the house at first floor, was found missing this morning.
A team of investigators visited the house and the guards were questioned for the incident that possibly occurred last night.
The President of Swami Vivekananda Sanskritik Kendra, Mayanandaji Maharaj, said the number of guards had been increased but the incidents of theft were increasing.
Two tridents were stolen from the house on October 23.
